October 16, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:41 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Two persons hailing from Ingoli in adjoining Maharashtra and were allegedly involved in 19 offences of waylaying cars and taking away their gold jewels and cash were caught by the Mahabubnagar police. About 23 tolas of the total of 43 tolas of jewels were recovered.

On Thursday, a patrol team waiting by the roadside were suspicious because they saw some tree branches blocking the road near Tarnikal village. Seeing the police, they tried to escape but were caught. Interrogation revealed that they were both ex-convicts in other robbery cases meeting up in prison and had committed the 19 offences.
