Narrow road

Bolarum Bazaar road is very narrow and always gets jammed with vehicular traffic throughout the day.

My request to the authorities concerned, whether it is the Secunderabad Cantonment Board or any government department, is to either put some restrictions on the vehicular movement or widen the road by vacating the street vendors and move them inside the bazaar.

Footpath revival

Three months ago, all illegal structures on Habsiguda street no. 8 were removed and curbing material was stocked for providing footpath.

However, later, in view of the Lok Sabha elections, the work was stopped. Now, though, it is over two weeks since the model code has lapsed but no work has started.

In view of the monsoon season, I request the competent authority to take up this work on a priority basis and complete it before the wet season sets in, serving as another reason not to do it for the next two-three months.

A.M. Dayal,

High-mast light repair

On May 30, I had complained about the high-mast light not functioning in our area through My GHMC app ID Number 300519367682.

It has been almost a week now and the repair is pending.

The lights were rectified/repaired just a month ago under a similar complaint made on their app.

Every day, I am being assured that it will be repaired once they requisition a ladder for the purpose from Alwal. I have even tweeted to the GHMC Commissioner about this problem, but I am yet to get a response from him.

Kumar Shastri,

Moula Ali
