Ravi Prakash remanded in judicial custody again

He is accused of creating fake mail ID

Former CEO of TV9 news channels, V. Ravi Prakash, was taken into custody by Cyberabad police in connection with a pending case registered against him in May this year.

Mr. Prakash, who is presently lodged at Chanchalguda jail after Banjara Hills police arrested him in a cheating case, was produced in a local court at Kukatpally on a prisoner transit warrant, which remanded him to judicial custody till October 30.

Cyberabad police said that Mr. Prakash is accused of creating a fake email ID in the name of one A. Natarajan and sending mails to Ravi Adusumilli of SAIF Partners on behalf of iLabs Group. Also, on Thursday, a local court in Nampally granted bail to him in the cheating case.
