Rajeev, Sravan to be taken into custody

Vallabhaneni Rajeev and B. Sravan, who were lodged in prison after being arrested in beautician Sirisha’s suicide case, would be taken into custody by Banjara Hills police for further investigation.

The accused duo, who was charged with driving the woman to suicide, was in prison presently. In next two to three days, the investigators would move the court seeking their custody.

“We need to ascertain facts about Sravan’s conspiracy in taking the woman to the SI’s quarters at Kukunoorpally,” the investigators said. Meanwhile, the remand report of the two accused stated that they along with Sirisha were at the quarters of the the SI from 11.39 p.m. on June 12 to 1.59 a.m. on June 13.

Police had collected video footage recorded by surveillance cameras at a wine shop where they had purchased liquor. “We haven't yet secured the video footage -if any- at the Kukunoorpally police station quarter,” the police said.
