Profiles of TRS candidates

March 21, 2019 11:37 pm | Updated 11:37 pm IST - HYDERABAD

Malkajgiri candidate Marri Rajashekar Reddy is son-in-law of Labour Minister Ch. Malla Reddy and runs several educational institutions.

A rank newcomer into active politics, though he worked very closely with Mr. Malla Reddy during 2014 and 2018 elections, Mr. Reddy is known to be soft-spoken. The biggest asset of the 50-year old would be the strength of TRS and his father-in-law who represented the constituency in the last Parliament. He would be taking on the TPCC working president and firebrand leader A. Revanth Reddy, who is also in Parliament election fray for the first time.

T. SAI KIRAN YADAV

Secunderabad candidate Talasani Sai Kiran Yadav is son of Sanathnagar MLA and Animal Husbandary Minister, Talasani Srinivas Yadav. He holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia.

This will be his first election ever and perhaps he would be the youngest in the entire TRS team announced for Parliament elections. Though he never contested in any election earlier, he has been working with his father, who was an MLA from Secunderabad, and also a Minister in the Chandrababu Naidu and K. Chandrashekar Rao governments. His opponents would be G. Kishan Reddy from BJP and M. Anjan Kumar Yadav from the Congress, who represented the constituency twice in 2004 and 2009.

VEMIREDDY NARSIMHA REDDY

Businessman Vemireddy Narsimha Reddy is Nalgonda candidate taking on TPCC president and Huzurnagar MLA N. Uttam Kumar Reddy. He hails from Chalimeda village of Mungode mandal of Nalgonda district. He has been the Managing Director of Snehita Agri Biotech from 1997 and Director of VGS Energy Pvt Ltd since 2012.

G. RANJIT REDDY

Chevella candidate G. Ranjit Reddy holds a post-graduate degree in Veterinary Science from the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agriculture University (ANGRAU), Rajendranagar.

He has been elected as the president of Telangana Poultry Breeders Association consecutively for the last six years. He started SR Hatcheries with his friend and grew his business to be one among the top 10 in the country.
