A private company director, T. Nithin Keerthan, 23, was arrested on Saturday on charge of stealing 22 laptops from his company godown.

Keerthan’s company godown was taken on lease by P. Bhikshapathy, working for an infrastructure company which supplies computers, North Zone DCP Ch. Srikanth said at a press conference. On November 1, he sent a load of laptops to the godown.

Three days ago during an inspection, he found that 20 laptops were stolen from the godown and approached the Bowenpally police.

Investigators found that Keerthan stole the laptops. While five of them were seized from him, the remaining were recovered from the persons to whom he sold them.
