Aryabhata Award for Avinash Chander

Former Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister and Director General of DRDO, Avinash Chander and former Director of National Remote Sensing Agency, Ranganath R. Navalgund were selected for the prestigious Aryabhata Award for 2013 and 2012 respectively by the Astronautical Society of India. The ASI which announced several awards in different categories for 2012 and 2013, selected B. H.V.S. Narayana Murthy of the Research Centre Imarat (RCI), a DRDO lab here, in Rocket and Related Technologies for 2013.
