Police continue crackdown on drunk driving

Nine drivers, who were sentenced to community service by the court after they found driving drunk, participated in a cleaning drive near Secunderabad Railway Station on Thursday evening.

Later, they walked for a distance of half-kilometre to Ramakrishna Hotel holding placards and posters related to traffic safety awareness. The violators even interacted with the motorists spreading the message of safe driving.

In the continuing special drive on drunk driving during daytime, 67 persons were booked by Hyderabad Traffic Police on Thursday, out of which 44 were driving two-wheelers, 19 three-wheelers and four were driving four-wheelers.
