Pennar group bags ₹309 crore orders

Pennar Group, which is into value-added engineering products and solutions, has bagged ₹309 crore worth orders across its business verticals and subsidiary PEBS Pennar.

Pennar Industries, the group’s flagship firm, received multiple orders aggregating to ₹124 crore, including from Integrated Coach Factory, Modern Coach Factory and for hydraulics and industrial components from Emerson, Endurance and Firestone. The solar and building components division received orders from L&T, PES Engineers, IFB, LG Balakrishnan, Wahi Sons, Bimetal Bearings, a release said.

PEBS Pennar, which is witnessing significant demand for pre-engineered warehouses, hi-rise buildings, factory buildings and structural steel works, has got orders for ₹125 crore, taking the order book to ₹480 crore. The new orders for Pennar Enviro were worth ₹ 60 crores for design and supply of water treatment plants from Reliance, JSW and an upcoming green field project from a cement major, the release said.

The recent orders are from existing as well as new customers, said K.M.Sunil, vice-president, corporate strategy of Pennar Industries.
