Hyderabad Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar invoked Preventive Detention Act against two notorious burglars Manthri Shankar and Shaik Obaid from Saidabad police station.
The Saidabad police executed the PD order against Shankar on May 4 who is involved in more than 250 offences and recently committed 11 burglaries in Hyderabad and Rachakonda Police Commissionerate limits with his associate Shaik Obaid. Obaid, a resident of Bahadurpura was earlier involved in 17 offences including attempt to murder, riotings and robberies. He is currently lodged in Chanchalguda.
