The Government of Telangana has extended protocol and other courtesies, including security, to the newly-appointed Parliamentary Secretaries on a par with the Minister of State.

The State Government had appointed six legislators of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) as Parliamentary Secretaries to assist the ministers in subjects allotted to them. The position is personal to the dignitaries concerned for the duration of the term of their office.
