The Special Operations Team of Rachakonda police on Saturday busted an inter-State online sex trafficking racket and nabbed three human traffickers and rescued a 26-year-old Uzbekistan national.

The accused have been identified as the pimp Errasni Jogeshwar Rao (32), a native of East Godavari, and two of his associates Laxmannavari Gopal (32), a resident of Balanagar and Kesana Gopal (22), a resident of Yousufguda. Police said one Osman, a native of Delhi, was absconding.

Rao is a professional human trafficker and has contacts with similar organisers in other States and runs a human trafficking business only through online platforms by uploading semi-nude and attractive photographs of the women on websites to lure clients, police said. On a tip-off the Special Operations Team of Malkajgiri zone conducted a decoy operation and apprehended the main organisers and rescued a Uzbekistan national for indulging in prostitution, he said.

Mr. Rao brought the woman to the city a week ago and kept her in Katriya Hotel at Somajiguda and earned money by sending his clients, he said.

On enquiry, the victim informed that she came to Delhi nine months ago on a six-month tourist visa and during her stay, she came in contact with human traffickers at Delhi, Goa, Bangalore and Hyderabad and indulged in sex trade for earning money, Mr Bhagwat said.
