Notices have been issued to officials and employees deployed as presiding officers and assistant presiding officers for parliamentary elections in the city, but were absent for the training camp on March 17 and 18, a press note from District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner M. Dana Kishore informed on Tuesday.
For 10,000 POs and APOs, only 7,000 attended the training camp, and notices have been issued against the remaining, it said.
For those who missed the training camp, another will be conducted on March 22, it said, and asked the designated officials to attend it without fail.
