The district administration has invited entries from residents who have made immense contribution in various fields for felicitations planned as part of the first State formation celebrations. The categories and entries submission authorities are – Best Teacher (DEO, Hyderabad), Best Anganwadi Worker (PD, Women and Child Welfare Department), Best Social Worker (District Youth Welfare Officer), Best Doctor (DMHO), Best NGO (DYWO/AD, Disabled Welfare), Best Sportsperson (District Sports Development Officer), Best Poet/Writer (AD/DPRO, I&PR Dept.), Best Artist (AD/DPRO, I&PR Dept.), Best Veda Pandit and Priest (Assistant Commissioner, Endowments), Best Advocate (Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, City Civil Court), Best Journalist (AD/DPRO, I&PR Dept.), Best Employee (concerned departments) and Best Ward (Commissioner, GHMC).
Applications have to be submitted by May 25.
