Nigerian caught with narcotic drug for third time

A Nigerian living in Hyderabad, who had been caught with narcotic drug twice in the past two years, was held on Friday on a similar charge.

This time, 20 grams of cocaine was seized from the foreigner Ugochukw Chukwuebuka alias Godpower. He came to India in August 2016 on business visa. He was arrested along with a Hyderabadi the same year on the charge of possessing narcotic substances.

He came out on bail but continued to procure and sell narcotic drugs. “This year, he was caught again in August possessing drugs along with another foreigner and three Hyderabadis,” Hyderabad Commissioner's Task Force DCP B. Limba Reddy said.

After being released on bail, he began procuring cocaine through his old acquaintances in Goa and Mumbai and selling to known customers in Hyderabad. On a tip-off, TF (North) sleuths and the Golconda police caught him at Seven Tombs in Golconda.
