Four years of hard work and academic excellence will be showcased in the form of exhibits high on creativity by the final year students of the National Institute of Fashion technology (NIFT), Hyderabad. The ‘Design Showcase and Infinite Ideas-2015’ will see the products and designs of final semester students of the departments Fashion and life Style Accessories as well as Fashion Communication.

The two-day event will be inaugurated on May 22 on the NIFT campus in Madhapur.

Giving out more details, N.J. Rajaram, NIFT Director said that the display would be open to public on both the days.

“We want the public to see the kind of work these students are doing. This will help send a message that apart from engineering and medicine, there are interesting streams too. We are confident that the works would not only be appreciated, but will inspire more students to join NIFT.”

There will be about 60 showcases ranging from handicrafts, furniture, jewellery, hand bags, home décor, footwear, packaging design, visual merchandising, graphic design and others.

These showcases were developed during the internship of the students with various leading industry houses. Talking about the employment opportunities, the NIFT management said that students passing out of the college have lucrative offers in not just fashion industry, but in other sectors also.
