Newborn girl found dead in factory yard

The body of a one-day-old girl was found in a factory compound at Gagan Pahad on Sunday morning.

Police said the security staff at the factory spotted the body and alerted them.

Police suspect that some local people might have abandoned the child as she was a girl.

Unidentified man dies

A unidentified man, around 35 years old, who was found unconscious at the Puranapul bus stop on Wednesday, and shifted to the Osmania General Hospital, died while undergoing treatment on Sunday. The deceased was wearing a red-and-white coloured checked shirt and black jeans pant. The body has been preserved at the OGH mortuary for identification.

Suspicious death

A 40-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances at Shamshabad on Saturday night. According to the police, G. Shanker, a driver from Bahadur Ali Maktha in Shamshabad was last seen consuming liquor on a wall of a nala near his house. His body was discovered lying in the nala on Sunday. The police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of his death.
