Two leopard cubs, which were rescued seven months ago in Anantapur district and later reared at the Nehru Zoological Park here, are now ready to be moved to the visitors’ display area.

The cubs were just days old and were not able to open their eyes when they were found in Anantapur, and subsequently, they were shifted to the zoo here. After seven months of intensive treatment by veterinarians, they have grown into healthy leopards. The felines will be released for display soon.
