Naidu announces China desk, six G2B MoUs signed

Andhra Pradesh Government signed six Government-to-Business MoUs, while Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the setting up of a dedicated China desk on the third day of his tour to China on Tuesday.

During a Round-Table on ‘Business Opportunities in Andhra Pradesh’, the Chief Minister declared that the State will have a dedicated China desk for investments and ease of doing business, besides escort executives. Seeking Chinese cooperation in building the ‘Best Capital’, he said ‘Buddhism and history unites us”.

Inviting Chinese to make Amaravati their second home after Beijing, he observed that this was the right time to do business in India. Mr. Naidu said six ports and eight new airports would be built in the State. He also emphasised on building best road, rail and inland water ways in the State.

Stating that China was India’s largest trading partner, the Chief Minister said China has evolved as a preferred source of India’s manufactured goods.

He said China was also committed to invest $ 20 billion in India. Similar to china, he was proposing to link Rivers in Andhra Pradesh.

said Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati would be developed as ‘Smart Cities’.
