As part of the preparations to make the forthcoming public meeting of Rahul Gandhi a grand success, former legislator T. Jayaprakash Reddy held a meeting with the party activists here on Saturday to work out a strategy.
The public meeting would mark the begining of the election campaign for the 2019 General Elections, Mr. Jayaprakash Reddy told the constituency-level Congress party cadre and leaders.
The Congress workers have to create confidence among the voters that the party will be with them in times of difficulty, former member of Legislative Assembly added.
“We will welcome Mr. Rahul Gandhi with a cavalcade of some 4,000 motorcycles from Ganesh Gadda. Ensure that at least 500 persons from each village will participate in the meeting,” he said. He expressed confidence that the Congress party would return to power in 2019 at State and Centre as well.
