Minister hurt in accident

Three others sustained serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling overturned.

Minister for Finance and Civil Supplies Etala Rajender and three others sustained serious injuries when the car in which they were travelling overturned at Edulaguttapalli village of Manakondur mandal in Karimnagar district on Saturday evening.

Police sources said that the Minister’s convoy was on its way from Huzurabad to Karimnagar to participate in the administration of Pentavalent vaccine when the mishap occurred. The Minister’s car, while trying to overtake a lorry, lost control and overturned three times on the road causing fracture injuries to the Minister.
