Man rapes daughter, repeatedly

In a shocking case, a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted repeatedly for over three weeks by her father in Alwal.

The incident came to light on Thursday after the girl’s family members lodged a complaint with the police who took the accused, Abdul Zameer alias Naveed, a plumber, into custody.

Caught in the act

Two days ago, the girl’s mother caught her husband sexually assaulting her hapless daughter. She took her daughter to her parents’ house at Shivarampally and on Thursday, returned to Alwal with her daughter to file the complaint.

Naveed sexually assaulted his daughter, an eighth standard student, three weeks ago when she was alone in their house at Rajiv Gandhi Nagar in Kanajiguda.

Accused threatened his daughter

“He threatened to kill his daughter if she spilled the beans about the horrendous act. A few days later, he raped her again,” Alwal Inspector B. Pushpan Kumar said.

The accused used to send out his wife on the pretext of purchasing groceries and rape his daughter, the police said.

A case under Sections 376 (rape), 342 (wrongful restraint) and 506 (criminal intimidation) had been registered against Naveed, who is being questioned.
