Man killed over parking dispute

A parking employee, Md. Jabbar, 23, of Champapet died allegedly after a person hit him over a parking row at Saroornagar on Monday night.

Police said the victim had entered into an argument with Chotalal Yadav over a parking dispute. In a fit of rage, Yadav hit and pushed Jabbar, after which the latter collapsed on the ground. He was rushed to a private hospital for treatment where he died while undergoing treatment. Police have registered a case under Section 304 Part II against Yadav.

One killed in accident

A truck driver was killed after his vehicle carrying cement bags fell off the Outer Ring Road (ORR) bridge at Shamshabad on Tuesday. The victim, Ramakrishna (23), was driving the truck when it hit the bridge railing reportedly after one of its front tyres burst and fell down on the adjacent slip road. The cleaner of the truck, Suresh (24), sustained injuries in the accident and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
