Man killed as phone explodes

: Srinivas Goud (35), a resident of Singoor village in Pulkal mandal, died when the cell phone he was using exploded. According to sources, the cell phone reportedly exploded due to short circuit when he was using ear-phones while charging the gadget. The impact of the blast was so serious that his eyes got charred. Srinivas Goud was working in MRF and is survived by wife and two children. Pulkal police registered a case.
