KTR invited to speak at global conference

Telangana Industries and IT Minister K.T.Rama Rao has received an invite to speak at the 25th annual Milken Institute Global Conference, which will be held in Los Angeles, USA, from May 1-4.

Hundreds of speakers, including leaders in finance, government, health and philanthropy, will be at the conference. The theme ‘Celebrating the Power of Connection’ seeks to highlight 25 years of building bridges across sectors, borders, and political divides and advancing the renewed ability to be together again, in-person, the Minister’s office said in a release on Friday.

In the invitation letter to Mr. Rama Rao, Milken Institute CEO Michael L. Klowden said “with the world in transition, sharing the unique insights of our speakers and inspiring our participants have never been so vital. I know our audience would greatly value your contribution to the discussion, and I hope you can join us for this timely event.” Around 3,000 participants are likely attend in-person at the by-invitation-only conference. Millions around the world will be viewing via livestream, he said.

Thanking the institute, Mr.Rama Rao said it will be a great platform to connect with the global leaders post the COVID pandemic.
