Kids complain to police against colony association

A group of children on Thursday approached the Golconda police alleging that office bearers of a colony welfare association were not allowing them to play cricket. The children aged between 12 and 14 years charged that the members Jhansinagar society threatened them of dire consequences if the played cricket in the colony.

However, the Golconda police who enquired into the complaint found that the children hit an elderly woman with a ball while playing cricket. “We explained to the children and their parents about the problems associated with using public roads as playgrounds,” Inspector Golconda Khaleel Pasha said.
