Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who was indisposed in the last two days due to fever, cold and sour throat, returned to his duties at the Secretariat on Saturday evening.
As soon as he arrived, Congress MP T. Subbirami Reddy accompanied by film actor Rajendra Prasad called on him to extend the wedding invitation of the latter’s son. Mr. Rao enquired about the health of his wife who was admitted to Yashoda Hospital with fever on the way to the Secretariat.
Mr. Rao cancelled his programme to inaugurate the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress owing to fever on Friday. He was also scheduled to meet the chief executive officers of pharma companies over lunch after the inaugural.
As his condition improved later in the day, he agreed to meet the Central team that toured here to study the spread of swine flu.
