Film maker ‘Kalatapaswi’ K. Viswanath returned home, after receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke National Award in New Delhi, to a rousing reception, what with Minister for Cinematography Talasani Srinivas Yadav according him a warm welcome at the airport.

The Minister was directed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to receive the ace director officially on behalf of the State Government. Mr. Yadav felicitated the film maker right there and said that the Telangana Government would soon felicitate him at a function.

Those present included Additional Director–Protocol Sasidhar Reddy and former chief secretary of Andhra Pradesh government I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and representatives of the Film Development Corporation and those of the GMR Airport.
