JUDA reservations against test for private medical colleges

May 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:54 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Members of the Telangana State Junior Doctors Association (TSJUDA) on Wednesday expressed reservations against the TS Government’s decision to allow private medical colleges to conduct their own entrance examination to fill medical seats in the management quota.

“Unlike EAMCET, which is more or less organised in a transparent way, there is no assurance of fair entrance examination when they are conducted by a private third party. The cost of medical education, at least for those who find it hard to secure good ranks in the government-run teaching hospitals, will be very high,” JUDA members said.
