Construction and building materials firm Aparna Enterprises and Hong Kong-based construction solutions provider Craft Holdings have joined hands to manufacture and retail aluminium exterior solutions.

Aparna-Craft Exteriors, the JV entity, will leverage the designing and engineering expertise of Craft Holdings and the execution capabilities of Aparna Enterprises. A press release on Wednesday on the JV announcement said the synergy will witness the brand setting up a manufacturing facility in Bachupally, Hyderabad, spread across 50,000 sq ft with a production capacity of 0.6 million sq ft per annum initially.

Aluminium exteriors as a market segment has a huge potential owing to rapid urbanisation and infrastructure development across the country. Customers are looking for exteriors solutions that are superior and distinct in design and quality, said Ashwin Reddy, managing director of Aparna Enterprises in a press release.

“Indian building façades and fenestrations are fast growing and pegged around ₹10,000 crore. We are confident that our combined energies will help us serve this growing opportunity,” he added. The joint venture is looking to provide complete end-to-end aluminium façade solutions, from designing, engineering, production and execution.

Chairman of Craft Holdings Grant Craft said the partnership “will also give us a strong networking capability and a business foundation thus helping fully realise the façade opportunity in India over the long term.”
