Jobs rain on Warangal tech college campus

As many as 174 students of Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science, Warangal (KITSW), have been offered jobs as part of the recent campus placement drive for 2018-19.

Principal K. Ashoka Reddy said 63 students, in their final year, have been asked to join their new jobs immediately.

These are internship-based placements in various companies such as Raam Group-18, Znalytics-15, Ad3i-11, GGK-5, Amara Raja Batteries-5, Musigma-2, Value Labs-3, Nine Leaps-1 and CtrlS-1.

The remaining 111 students will join after completion of their courses. “We have been training the students in soft skills, technical skills, leadership qualities and self confidence from the first year itself. The students selected are trained for six months”, he said.

Gruelling rounds

P. Srikanth, training and placement officer at KITSW, said the headhunters conducted aptitude test, analytical reasoning, technical round and HR interviews. They selected 174 students from engineering disciplines such as CSE, ECE, IT, EEE, mechanicial, civil and EIE (B.Tech and M.Tech) as well as MBA courses.
