With its chief political strategist giving a new road map, the Janasena party will contest for all the 175 constituencies in Andhra Pradesh in the next elections, while the strategy for Telangana will be announced by the second week of August.

The party would go all out with a tour by Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, and the schedule will be announced on May 11 with the leader going to the masses.

Political strategist

Mr. Pawan Kalyan, who addressed a meeting of key activists of all 13 districts of AP at the party office here, introduced party’s chief political strategist Dev to the participants and said that he would be working on election plans and institutional policy designing. Mr. Pawan Kalyan said Janasena was a first generation political party with majority people from middle class families but its activists had the experience of at least two general elections. Party’s construction would be done in a disciplined manner with strong ideologies.

Support to NDA

He said the party did not represent a single caste and it was evident from the way it supported the TDP in the last elections.

He said he had planned to contest for 70-80 Assembly and eight Lok Sabha seats in the last elections but he supported the NDA, considering the prevailing circumstances.

Mr. Dev shared his views with the participants and said he had the experience of various national and international political parties for over a decade. He said the party could win power if the party ideology was to join hands with a structured political strategy.
