Irrigation and drinking water are two top priority sectors for Telangana. Accordingly, in spite of human and financial resources crunch, the Government is working to accelerate the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) of around US$100 billion, said Municipal Administration and Urban Development Secretary Navin Mittal on Monday.

Interacting with a delegation of visiting Civil Service Officers of Bangladesh, he said a fast-growing economy would help generate more employment opportunities to the youth. The newly carved State was relying more on Information Technology and e-governance to solve people’s problems.

T-Hub was one such initiative launched to attract start-ups to the State to set up shop. Also, the eco-system of Hyderabad with several premier educational institutions, civic infrastructure and geo-strategic location had attracted a lot of investment propelling the capital to achieve tremendous growth in recent decades, he said.
