A young couple were found dead at their rented house in Medipally here on Thursday.
They were identified as E. Navnith and Swapna, both aged around 27 years and residents of Ashoknagar in Medipally.
Police said the couple, who got married in May last year, committed suicide by consuming poison over family disputes, as they belong to different castes.
Medipally Inspector B. Anji Reddy suspected that the couple must have resorted to the extreme step nearly three days ago as their bodies were completely decomposed.
While, Navnith is a software employee, Swapna works for a call centre at Hitech City. They are yet to ascertain the exact reason. Their marriage was not accepted by their families as they belonged to different backgrounds. No suicide note was found.
