I’m innocent: Rajaiah

January 26, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:43 am IST - HYDERABAD:

Sacked Deputy Chief Minister T. Rajaiah has stated that he did not commit any wrong and is ready for any punishment, in case he is proved guilty.

Talking to newspersons on Sunday night, Dr. Rajaiah said the Chief Minister had taken the decision to sack him based on wrong doings of officials in the Health Department and he would abide by it.

“The Chief Minister has detected the wrongdoings in the department and has taken the decision to prevent a bigger mistake”, Dr. Rajaiah said adding that corruption among the government officials had increased leading to the developments. “As a believer in Christ, I have not done anything wrong and will do anything of that sort in future”, he stated.

Dr. Rajaiah said he would meet the Chief Minister soon and rededicate himself for reconstruction of Telangana by working as a soldier under Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao’s leadership. “KCR has encouraged me like a father and gave me the Deputy Chief Minister’s post, which I did not dream ever”, he noted.
