Temperature in Hyderabad goes up by 1.2 degrees

Khammam records State’s highest of 46.2 degrees Celsius

The temperature in Hyderabad increased by 1.2 degrees Celsius in just one day.

While it was 42.2 degrees on Saturday, the city recorded 43.4 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

On Sunday, the highest temperature in Telangana was 46.2 degrees Celsius in Khammam, followed by 46 degrees in Ramagundam and 45.8 degrees in Adilabad.

All together, above 45 degrees Celsius was recorded in four districts of the State.

As per weather warning issued by the Indian Meteorological Centre in Hyderabad, thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds might sweep isolated places in all districts of the State in the next few days.

However, heatwave conditions are likely to prevail from Monday to Thursday.
