Hyderabad police arrest four minors for robbery

The Saifabad police on Monday arrested four minors on charges of kidnapping and robbing a man of his belongings in last month

According to the police, four minors, who were in a car offered lift to G. Anil Kumar, a native of Khammam district while he was standing at Public Gardens bus stop to go towards Kukatpally. As he got into the car, the offenders instead took him to Narsingi on the city outskirts.

Later, they robbed him of his belongings, including a laptop, a gold chain weighing one and a half tola, two mobile phones, ATM cards and Rs. 2,000 cash. After committing the offence they dropped him at Tolichowki area and sped away.

The police caught them while they were moving suspiciously in a rented car at Imax on Sunday. On interrogation they confessed to the crime, the police said. The police recovered the laptop, gold chain and one mobile phone from them.
