Heavy rain lashes in Sangareddy town on Monday.

Heavy rain lashed Sangareddy district headquarters from morning till noon. Low-laying areas were inundated at some areas and Gangakatva, a stream near Sadashivapet and Narinja, another near Zaheerabad have been overflowing since morning.

According to sources, 11.4 c.m. rainfall was recorded at Narayanakhed followed by 7.8 c.m. at Zaheerabad and Mogudampally, 7.4 c.m. at Jarasangam and 6.4 at Manoor and Nagalgidda.

In Siddipet district 9.4 c.m. rainfall was registered in Siddipet Urban and Rural mandals followed by 70 m.m. at Rayapole, Chinnakodur and Daultabad, 62 mm at Bejjanki and 60 mm at Nanganoor.

In the last 19 days of this month the Gajwel mandal has registered rain for as many as 10 days – which rain every alternate day.
