Govt plans to hold Iftar on June 18

Telangana Government is organising ‘Iftar’ feast to mark the holy month of Ramzan here on June 18.

Animal Husbandry and Cinematography Minister Thalasani Srinivasa Yadav held a meeting with Mosque Committee president and secretaries and local corporators on arrangements for the Iftar in his chambers here on Friday.

The Government has released ₹ 1 lakh to each of 432 mosques for organising Iftar feast and on June 16, 2.16 lakh gift packs, 500 packs to each mosque would be distributed to let all Muslims celebrate the festival in a grand manner, he said.
