In a freak mishap, a seven-year-old boy died after an iron gate fell on him at Kulsumpura on Monday night.
The victim, Dhiraj Kumar, was swinging on the gate when it broke and fell on him.
He was shifted to Osmania General Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment, police said.
Woman dies in accident
A fifty-year-old woman, Maisamma, died when a car hit her on Monday night at Kandukur in Ranga Reddy district.
The victim was crossing the road when she was hit by the car.
Police arrested the car driver and registered a case.
Man drowns in well
The body of a 50-year-old man was found in a well on the Veterinary College campus at Rajendranagar on Tuesday morning. Police identified the dead person as B. Narsimha, a resident of Rajendranagar.
Police suspect he might have accidentally slipped into the well on Monday and drowned.
Man hangs self
A 50-year-old person, M. Bhama, committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at his house at Inzapur in Vanasthalipuram on Monday. Personal issues drove him to take the extreme step, police said.
