Gang cheats job aspirants

More victims have come forward and lodged complaints with the Cyber Crime cell of Detective Department of the city police against a Delhi-based gang which cheated job aspirants by promising government jobs. Four members of the gang were already arrested by the police last week. Two Delhi-based persons - Ramesh Singh and Rakesh Singh had cheated job aspirants by creating a website ‘Gramin Swarojgar Yojana’. The gang conducted interviews of the candidates at different offices in the city and collected between Rs. 1 and Rs. 3 lakh assuring them of jobs. “Around 500 people from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have been cheated by the gang members to the tune of 5 crore,” an investigation officer said.
