Four from TS, one from A.P. get 100% in JEE Main

A total of 8,74,469 had appeared

Four students from Telangana and one from Andhra Pradesh are among 15 students who scored 100% in the first JEE (Main) examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from January 8 to 12.

The Telangana students who scored 100% are Adelly Sai Kiran, Yindukuri Jayanth Phani Sai, Battepati Karthikeya and Vishwanath K and all of them are students of Narayana colleges, with the last three also completing their schooling from Narayana group of schools. The lone student who scored 100% from Andhra Pradesh is Bojja Chetan Reddy. The Narayana Group, in a statement, said students from their colleges appeared in about 30 online tests so that they could easily adopt to the new system and excel.

Their ranks would be released after another JEE Main examination, which would be held in April this year. The better of the two scores of all the aspirants who appeared in January and those who would appear in April would be taken into account.

From this year, the National Testing Agency is conducting the exam twice and students have the option of writing it whenever they wish to. In January, the exam was conducted in 258 cities in the country and abroad and 9,29,198 candidates registered for paper-I for which 8,74,469 appeared.
