Four from Hyderabad killed in Ajmer

Tragedy struck two families, who went on a pilgrimage to Ajmer in Rajasthan, when four persons died and three others sustained injuries in a road accident on Saturday. In all 11 persons from Warasiguda were on their way to Salwar Sharif Dargah, an hour's drive from Ajmer when the car lost control and rammed into the divider.

The victims were identified as Md. Saifullah Khan (8), Syed Shakeel (45) and his two daughters Misbah (10) and Zoya (2). The injured Zubaida Begum, Daniya Khan and Javeriya Khan, both daughters of Md. Shakeel are seriously injured and being treated at Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital, Ajmer.

Md. Shakeel Khan had taken a vow to visit the Ajmer Dargah seven times. The family completed five visits, the relatives said. While Syed Shakeel, a native of Bidar was on his first visit to the shrine, he went along with his family members.
