Governor, leaders extend Dasara greetings

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan conveyed his greetings and best wishes to the people of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Dasara. The festival reinforced the eternal message of triumph of good over evil and the celebrations were an inspiration for people to follow the path of righteousness. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, in a release, recalled that Dasara was a very important festival, especially in Telangana and wished happiness and peace in every household of those belonging to the State. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu conveyed his greetings to all Indians, specially the Telugu-speaking people in AP, Telangana and the rest of the world and recalled that it marked the day when Lord Rama defeated Ravana.
