Five found dead in separate incidents

Five people, including two students, were found dead in separate incidents across the city on Monday.

In the first case, a 20-year-old B. Pharmacy student was found dead in his private hostel room in Abdullapuramet. The victim Kona Baswaraj hails from Narayanpet district. He was a second-year student from Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Gunthapally.

In another incident, a first-year engineering student’s body was found in her college, in Kandlakoya, Medchal.

The incident came to light at around 2 p.m. when her roommates broke open the door only to see K. Shershi (19) dead. She was pursuing Computer Science and Engineering from CMR Technical Campus in Kandlakoya and was living in the college hostel. The victim is a native of Khammam district, Medchal police said.

In a third incident, Chandanagar police said that a 35-year-old mason ended life at his residence in Papireddy Colony on Monday afternoon.

The victim, Keshava, was addicted to alcohol and ended life over health issues, the police said. He survived by wife and two children.

In the fourth incident, upset over his husband’s addiction to alcohol, a home-maker from Kuntloor village in Hayathnagar ended her life.

The victim was identified as Palakuri Rajitha. She was married to one Laxman and the couple had two children.

In another case reported from Hayathnagar, a debt-ridden farmer ended life at his house in Thorrur village of Abdullapurmet. The victim was identified as Samreddy Pradeep Kumar Reddy.
