The Telangana Aam Aadmi party has criticised the TRS government for failing to stop farmer suicides. The party said that according to their assessment, 844 farmers had committed suicide in the last one year in the State. As per the district-wise data on farmers’ deaths handed out by AAP members at a press meet on Friday, Medak tops the list with 150 suicides followed by Karimnagar with 128 and Adilabad with 107. “This is not the golden Telangana people were looking forward to. The government is not doing anything,” said P.L. Vishweshwar Rao, spokesperson, Telangana AAP.
