Evolution of Hyderabad's Salar Jung Museum

The Salar Jung Museum is one of the biggest grossers from ticket collections in Hyderabad city with ₹2,30,39,920 collected in 2017-18. The museum is an orderly choreographed experience of different galleries. It has a footfall of 12 lakh people a month.

It is the world's largest one-man art collection which today hosts 46,000 artefacts including Nizam-era clocks, paintings, jade collections, weaponry, Chinese enamels and much more from all around the world. 

Named after Salar Jung III, the museum boasts of 38 galleries. 

With offerings such as virtual tours of some galleries and Wi-Fi, it is the first of its kind in India.
