Certificate verification for engineering admissions will be done online from this year including the caste and income certificates, the TSCHE Chairman T. Papi Reddy said.
If the candidates’ Aadhaar cards are linked to their mobile phones, candidates just need to enter the number of the caste or income certificate on the system and the entire information will be accessed from the Mee Seva centre’s data.
The information available in the EAMCET application and Intermediate results will be accessed avoiding personal visit of the students to the helpline centres for certificate verification. However, candidates whose details are not linked with Aadhaar have to visit helpline centres for verification.
Prof. Reddy said by linking the DOST admissions data and the engineering counselling the officials are now trying to avoid the issue of seats going vacant. If students take admission in engineering their degree admissions, if taken, will be cancelled automatically.
