E-com portal to sell machine tools

IT firm Golden Sun Technology has launched ‘shopmytools’, a digital platform for machine tools.

Conceived as a one-stop destination for suppliers, dealers and end-users of machine tools, it was launched on Tuesday by Gowra Srinivas, president of trade and industry body FTAPCCI. A release from Golden Sun Technology said the company has come with the e-commerce site with the objective of making machine tools shopping a pleasant experience. The solution would serve the needs of both B2B and B2C customers.

The firm also offers value-add services such as warehouses, packaging, shipping and product promotion.

Director – Operations L.S.Rathore said the portal has been designed keeping the end-users, business intermediaries and manufacturers in mind. The company plans to open warehouses in all major cities. It has a warehouse at Katedan in the city. Vijayawada, Bengaluru and Chennai are the other cities where it proposes to have such a facility by March and subsequently go to north India.

“We target to have 10 more warehouses by next financial year,” he said. “We have 24 brands on the platform of which 12 are international brands. Registration for dealers is free for the next one month, said A.M.K Siddiqui, Director-Commercial.
