DMH official in ACB net

Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on Saturday arrested senior assistant in nursing section of the Directorate of Medical and Health, Hyderabad, for accepting bribe of ₹ 7,000 from a complainant.

In a press release, the ACB officials said that the accused officer, K. Shiva Prasad, was caught red-handed in his office.

The complainant, M. Balasubramanyam of Rajendranagar informed the officials that Prasad demanded the money to hand over the copy of leave sanction order of his wife, D.M. Hepsibha Rani, a staff nurse in Osmania General Hospital here.

The accused officer was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases here.
